Informal Wetland Determinations are services where an Environmental Consultant will determine the absence or presence of wetlands in a given area. Informal Wetland Determinations are a great way for clients to know if they require an Environmental Resource Permit (ERP) or Verification of Exemption (VoE) from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP). Impacts to wetlands will require an Environmental Resource Permit. Prior to proposed development, potential permits may be required from the Army Corps of Engineers if aquatic resources are to be impacted. To determine the absence or presence of wetlands, Earth Tech Environmental ecologists use scientific evidence from surrounding vegetation, soil sampling, and signs of hydrology. Upon completion of our field findings, Earth Tech Environmental will assist in recommending steps moving forward and facilitating the permitting process to ensure permit issuance permit exemption with ease.
