Environmental Permitting
ETE has extensive experience in Environmental Resource Permitting (ERP) and specifically on properties associated with City Gate. ETE partner, Jeremy Sterk, has been involved with the City Gate property since 2004. Mr. Sterk has handled all environmental consulting, permitting, and mitigation activities for City Gate, which included:
- Wetland flagging & delineation
- Protected species surveys and management plans
- ERP permitting with the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD)
- Incidental Take Permitting (ITP) with the US Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) for Red Cockaded Woodpecker (RCW) & Florida Panther
- Gopher Tortoise Permitting & Relocations with the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC)
- Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) for Plats, & SDP’s with Collier County
- Mitigation design and implementation, including offsite land purchases, mitigation on State land, & a 1.5 million dollar wildlife crossing
- Mitigation monitoring from baseline to final site sign-off

ETE has acquired multiple gopher tortoise permits for City Gate. The 2009 permit included establishment an offsite recipient site on an in-holding parcel in the Picayune Strand State Forest (PSSF).

ETE has provided exotic removal and planting services at the City Gate property since 2014.
