Turbidity Monitoring
ETE has extensive turbidity monitoring experience and has worked on dredging projects all over the State of Florida. Recently completed projects included Miami’s haulover inlet, Fort Pierce Inlet, Wiggins Pass, Doctors Pass, Honeymoon Harbor in Tampa, and the Fort Pierce inlet.
Submerged Resource Surveys
ETE has experienced SCUBA divers that can perform submerged resource surveys (SRS). The SRS evaluates pre-construction areas for important submerged resources such as seagrass, oyster beds, and hard bottom (corals) habitats. The SRS is used before aquatic construction activities such as dredging and dock construction.
Artificial Reef Monitoring
ETE has several experienced SCUBA divers on staff to conduct artificial reef monitoring. This specific monitoring includes fish counts, species identification, invasive species monitoring, and overall reef ecosystem health.
Seagrass Monitoring Survey
ETE can perform annual and one-time-event segrass surveys, depending if the work requires for monitoring overall health or a presence/ absence survey. Seagrass monitoring helps determine the health, density, and abundance of seagrass, along with population density and health trends over a period of time.
