Staff Highlight – Certified Environmental Scientist, Auston Germano
Auston Germano is one of Earth Tech Environmental’s ecologists who puts his boots in about everything, but specializes in gopher tortoises, preserve management, and vegetation monitoring.
Auston has recently attained a Certified Environmental Scientist (CES) certification from the National Registry of Environmental Professionals (NREPSM). He received his certification on June 3, 2019 and his certification number is (11866017785190603). A CES certification establishes a professional’s understanding of the basic principles of environmental science, including: chemistry, physics, earth science, biology, meteorology, zoology and environmental health.
The National Registry of Environmental Professionals (NREPSM) is a not-for-profit organization founded by Dr. Richard Young in 1987, has been credentialing qualified professionals in environmental and safety fields. NREPSM is the largest not-for-profit accrediting organization and is recognized by the United States Department of Energy (DOE) and United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The National Registry of Environmental Professionals has established a network of over 15,000 members worldwide, who exemplify the highest professional ethics and standards.
