ETE continues to receive requests for cane toad removal throughout Collier County.  We now perform removal services in several residential communities.  It’s not uncommon to capture 50 or 60 toads per removal event!

The cane toad (also known as the giant or marine toad) is a large, nonnative amphibian that has been introduced to Florida.  When confronted by predator cane toads excrete bufo toxin from the glands on their backs in the form of white viscous venom. The secretions are highly toxic to dogs, cats, and other animals, and can cause skin irritation in humans.
