Earth Tech Environmental conducted a wildlife relocation from a pond that was being filled in on private property.  All captured fish and reptiles were relocated to a larger pond right down the road. ETE ecologists removed debris and foam from the ponds surface with a seine net. Once the majority of the surface had been cleared, the ecologists pulled a seine net through the lake to capture as many fish and turtles as possible. After about many net pulls, the ecologists captured largemouth bass, red ear sunfish, mosquito fish, blue tilapia, and a common gar. In addition to the fish, the ecologists also captured 2 river cooter turtles.

Once captured, the animals were placed in bins filled with water and aerators (the turtles were excluded from that). When the ecologists wrapped up, the animals were delivered to their new home, properly acclimatized, and released!
